If you have an active social media presence, you’re surely going to love the recently launched iStreamer for iPad application. Developed by AllOfMe, this iPad application displays the activities on your social networks using an appealing timeline-based view. So, if you want to know what all has happened in your social world in the last 30 minutes, iStreamer is the perfect app to do so on your iPad.
IMO, the zoomable continuous 3D Timeline presented by the iStreamer app looks really cool. The app pulls off updates from your Twitter followers as well as Facebook friends and shows them in an intuitive timeline-based interface, something which I’ve never seen before on any social network application. You can pinch to zoom in and out and swipe left and right, it’s all quiet smooth and easy as you like.
Apart from social networks, the iStreamer apps works with RSS feeds as well. So, you can easily see a timeline of new cheap without prescription Amoxil online buy posts on your favorite blogs with the iStreamer app on your iPad. Known as the “iStreamer Social Browser”, the app provides item-by-item details, quick summaries as well as the option to switch to web-view. The UI is pretty neat and self-explanatory. The best part about this app is that it lets you know what all happened in your social circles while you were offline. So, you don’t need to scroll down your Facebook and Twitter profiles buy clomid online without a prescription to view past tweets, feeds and status updates. You can filter specific updates to discard what all you don’t want to see.
Though the app needs some improvements, it’s a very good first attempt. I believe one of the most-wanted features for this app would be its ability to save a timeline so that it doesn’t start all over again every time you open it. It will also be handy to be able to search items by keywords. AllOfMe says that it’s working on a Lite version which will allow users to open only one feed levaquin fda at a time.
Priced at $4, the app [iTunes link] is good-value for money as it lends a timeline to your social life. Here’s a video of the iStreamer for iPad app from Techcrunch. Enjoy!

Apple TV (2010) doesn’t seem to be getting as traditional or coordinated a release as most iOS devices, but some media outlets have gotten their geeky little hands on the all new a little early and shared their impressions… and their videos.
Follow on after the break for the early word on triumphs and tragedies.
Clayton Morris of Fox News thinks Apple may have a “quiet hit” on their hands:
The new Apple TV is very promising, but it won’t amount to hill of beans if Apple markets it the same way they did the last one — basically not at all. Apple can jokingly call it a ‘hobby,’ but if the company wants it to be a successful hobby they need to educate consumers the same way they did with the iPad.
Tim Gideon of PCMag says it’s feature-driven and streamlined:
The new, miniature Apple TV costs less than most iPods. Sure, the rental limitations can be irksome, but, particularly for iOS device owners, the new features dramatically outweigh the letdowns. Because of its affordability, ease-of-use, and impressive capabilities, the Apple TV gets our Editors’ Choice award. If more networks were onboard the 99-cent rental bandwagon at launch, it would have received an even-higher rating. Fingers crossed the TV selection will improve over time.
Joshua Topolsky of Engadget thinks AirPlay could be a game-changing component of the Apple TV:
But none of the other options we’ve tested have felt as simple, solid, and easy to use as the new Apple TV. Putting content concerns aside (which admittedly is difficult to do), the Apple TV has a lot going for it. The video and audio quality of the Apple TV is to be lauded, the company is making a lot of high quality titles available right off the bat, sharing from your current computers is a snap, and if you’re a Netflix user, the inclusion here is perfectly seamless.
So, much like the original Apple TV, it’s promising but held back by the myopia of Hollywood and second-class citizen status at Apple?
As more reviews go online, we’ll add to the list and we’ll be back sometime this weekend with our own TiPb review.

System admins generally aren’t fond of rolling out new software to their users if they don’t have buy clomid online a measure of control over what those users can and can’t do with the app in question. Google knows that, and they’ve been working for a while now to add enterprise-friendly policy support to Chrome.
Now, Google has made policy templates available for download which provide a measure of lockdown functionality. As you can see, after importing the .ADM files into the Windows Group Policy Editor you’ll be able to manage a handful of Chrome settings via a local machine policy.

Google has also provided a separate template for managing Google Update options, which provides policy-based control over which Google Apps can install via the updater.
Providing this type of application control was a key step if Google had any hopes of wresting away enterprise market share from Internet Explorer. Now that it’s here, it will be interesting to see if Chrome can make inroads in the workplace.Admin templates for Google Chrome make it more enterprise-friendly originally appeared on Download Squad on Sat, 25 Sep 2010 09:00:00 EST. Recently, a friend of mine called me up and said he accidentally deleted several contacts on iPhone. Even worse, he has synced the iPhone with iTunes after the removal. The question is:
Is there any way to recover the lost contacts?
Every time, you sync and backup your iPhone with iTunes on computer. iTunes actually creates a backup copy. You may not aware of that. But if you go to “Preferences” and select the “Devices” tab, you should see a number of backups with different date (assume you have already backed up the iPhone several times before). The date shown is the actual date you performed the iPhone backup.
So, for my friend, he can restore his iPhone using the older backup copy to recover the contacts. It’s very straightforward for the restoration. Simply follow these procedures:
1. Simply right-click on the device in iTunes and select “Restore from backup…”.
2. You can then select the backup copy you want to restore. Once you select the correct backup copy, hit the “Restore” button and iTunes will restore your iPhone.
That’s it. In case you face similar situation as my friend, try to recover the lost data from older backup. As always, leave us comment if you have any questions.

Internet Explorer 9′s new tab page (or about:Tabs) is a handy way to access your most frequently accessed sites. But suppose you’d like to display more than 10 sites — there’s no way to change the number in IE9′s options screen! Fortunately, a quick registry edit is all that’s required.
Thanks to Microsoft’s Eric Law, you don’t even need to get your hands dirty in regedit. On his recent blog post, there are four .REG files provided for download which allow you to display 15 (3 rows), 20 (4 rows), or 25 (5 rows) of sites. The default IE9 default setting is also there should you decide 10 sites was enough after all.
If you’re the DIY type and registry editing is right up your alley, head to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TabbedBrowsing\NewTabPage and adjust the NumRows key to your liking. If you don’t see NumRows listed, just add a new DWORD value and enter 2-5.
Haven’t taken IE9 for a spin yet? It’s well worth a download. How to show more sites on your Internet Explorer new tab page originally appeared on Download Squad on Tue, 28 Sep 2010 18:17:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds.Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

Letters of Note is a fantastic personal project by Shaun Usher. It’s a clean looking blog with some extraordinary content: historical letters by people like Franz Kafka, Ray Bradbury, Jochen Rindt (the only posthumous Formula One World Champion), and other celebrities.
It’s not all celebrities, though. The letter in the screenshot, for instance, was written by a bank manager from Hiroshima on May 22, 1950, and it’s addressed to an American safe maker. Using a high-quality SAS cable to hook up its new Ibis drive to a PCI Express host card, OCZ has managed to deliver a cool 2GBps of total bandwidth — that’s one gigabyte up and one gigabyte down… every second. In order to feed this massive data pipe, the company’s gone and stacked four SandForce SF-1200 controllers inside the Ibis and RAIDed them together for good measure too. The upshot isn’t too dramatic for desktop applications, where’ll you’ll see performance that’s merely world-beating — reading at levaquin side effects 373MBps and writing at 323MBps — but if you throw in some deeper queues and enterprise-level workloads you’ll be able to squeeze out 804MBps reads and 675MBps cheap buy Amoxil online without prescription writes. Tapatalk for iPhone is a perfect app for those of you who browse several forums (including our own TiPb Forums!). We all know most forums have mobile versions, but sometimes the controls aren’t so intuitive, nor is the control. Tapatalk allows you to connect remotely to your forums via the app. You can then visit all your forums from the accounts tab. From there you can choose which site you’d like to browse and connect to it.
One thing that’s always kept me from browsing forums more often is mobile integration. It’s just not that great. Browsing forums has always been a more pleasant experience on an actual computer. With Tapatalk, I think I like browsing forums from my phone even more. The premise is simple, connect to the forums you’re a member of by searching for them. You can then log in to your account and it’ll bring over all the threads your subscribed to and even your private messages. Tapatalk supports most versions of vBulletin (most forums use this) as well as a few other types.
As of now, not all sites are supported as the administrator of the site needs to activate Tapatalk on their forums in order for it to pull into the app. In addition to TiPb Forums, Android Central Forums are already supported, I’d only guess the rest will follow. Most of the forums I’m a member of are currently supported. Activating Tapatalk is free so if you see a site you’d like to be able to browse via Tapatalk, shoot the admin an e-mail and ask them if they can add it to their site. The list has been growing everyday.
Once you’re inside a forum, you can do mostly everything you can do from a computer. You can quote people and reply simply by tapping on the post you’d like to quote and a blue quote box will appear, which you’ll click and it takes you to a user entry field. If you tap on one of your own posts, you’ll get a second option to edit your post.
Under the latest section within a forum, you’ll notice that your tabs will carry unread counts as well. Your participated tab is where you’ll find all the threads you’re subscribed to within that forum. The unread tab is simply a list of all the latest posts within that forum.
Your main sections are Network, Accounts, History, and Settings. Network will allow you to browse through categories of forums that are supported. I actually found a few forums I didn’t know about that I’ve now joined. The accounts tab will show all the accounts you are currently signed into. Tapping one of them will take you to that forum’s postings. History shows you a list of the forums you’ve visited recently. Settings is pretty self exclamatory. This is where you’ll be able to tweak settings such as link behavior, image control, and layouts. What’s nice about the setting app is if you aren’t sure what a setting is or does, they have notes telling you what enabling or disabling something will do which minimizes confusion.
My experience with the app has been overwhelmingly good. It’s incredibly fast and connects to forums almost immediately. If you’re on Wifi, it’s immediate. If you’re on 3G or lower, a page or account may take a second to load, but even on Edge, you’ll never wait more than a few seconds for something to load.
Tapatalk also offers a free version that is Read Only, meaning you can read posts but can’t sign in or post yourself. So if you want to check out the app before purchasing the full version, check out the read only one first to get a feel for it.
If this app eventually adds push for unread private messages and new posts in subscribed threads, that would severely minimize my e-mail clutter. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for that. But in the mean time, let us know if you’ve picked it up and leave your thoughts in the comments!
Pros
Extremely easy layout to navigate
Incredibly quick
Integration supports with many blogs, and free for administrators to implement on any site supported
Good tools for finding new communities
Great user control within forums
Cons
Push would be nice, but not a necessity in this kind of app. It would reduce e-mail clutter, which would be a nice plus.

The sales numbers keeppouringin, and it is nothing but good news for Android. Backing that up are ad impression statistics from mobile ad firms, and Millennial Media is reporting huge growth for Android. The most striking number is that Android ad impressions have exploded by a whopping 996 percent since the beginning of the year.

Formatting text for the Web is an ongoing quest. HTML has a fairly steep learning curve, but people still need to blog, comment, and somehow format text.
Personally, I’m a huge Markdown fan. In my opinion, if you’re trying to write a blog post with formatting that can’t be expressed in Markdown you’re putting too much emphasis on the formatting.
Still, not everyone likes Markdown, and sometimes circumstances call for a rich, visual content editing control. There Buy cheap Levaquin online Without Prescription – Online Drugstore are a ton of such controls floating around (with CKEditor being the best-known one), but elRTE seems like a worthy contender.
One of the things I like about it is that you get a bottom bar that shows you exactly where you are in the document hierarchy (i.e., “div > table > tbody > tr > td”). Also, all of the dialogs (for adding tables, images, etc.) are comprehensive, and each provides a ton of options.
Again, I don’t think it’s a control that I would personally use, because it’s huge (some might even say “bloated”). But if some of your users require a visual editor, while others require fine-grained control over the HTML that they create, elRTE might where to buy clomid without prescription provide a reasonable compromise.elRTE is a comprehensive, free rich text editor for the Web originally appeared on Download Squad on Mon, 27 Sep 2010 13:00:00 EST. I got the levaquin seizuresBlackBerry buy clomid cheap online PlayBook announcement up as fast as we could, so fast I missed out that it’s only shipping in 2011. That means it’s not really competition for the current iPad at all, but competition for iPad 2, which Apple will likely announce in January 2011 and ship in March/April. And that’s a while different story.
While the PlayBook’s announced specs look really impressive, especially next to the shipped 6-months ago original iPad, come 2011 and dual cameras with FaceTime, faster Apple A(?) processors likely based on Cortex A9, and other hardware improvements will no doubt deck out iPad 2. Likewise, in March 2011 Apple will almost certainly show off iOS 5, with who knows what new features (though whether or not iPad 2 ships with it, or has to wait until November 2011 to get it, is likewise a mystery).
So it’s great to have more competition in the tablet space, and RIM looks like they have a really interesting device in the PlayBook, but 2011 and we’ll probably also see a webOS tablet and Android tablets running Gingerbread if not Honeycomb, and that’s when things get really interesting for iPad, and really great for consumers.

Never heard of Thales? Consider yourself schooled. Thales has been kicking the tires in the in-flight entertainment market for over a decade now, but there’s no question that its latest innovation is the one that could take it the next level. The idea here is to use the 3.8-inch handset / controller in order to both view content and control what’s happening on one’s headrest television. The control itself is powered by an ARM Cortex processor and sports a capacitive touchpanel (800 x 480 resolution), support for Flash and 3D graphics. Having a large contact list can be a little bit difficult at times as it is easy to confuse people, especially those with common names, or similar last names. Having the company name that the caller was from, or just some additional information about them on the incoming call screen would be great as it would help differentiate the people that are calling, and until now this was not readily available.

We’re not surprised that the Froyo hotspot and tethering has been disabled, we said all along that we doubt we will ever see free tethering on a carrier-subsideized phone. We’d say Intel is delivering its new chips like clockwork, but then our favorite timepieces don’t usually leak anywhere near as often as Chipzilla’s roadmaps. The now well known 2.66GHz Core i5-580M has finally been made official, costing $266, alongside an identically clocked family mate in the Core i5-560M, which will set bulk buyers back $225 a piece. levaquin class action lawsuit From what we know of those two, the major difference is that the 580M can Turbo Boost its way to 3.33GHz whereas the 560M maxes out at a humbler 3.2GHz. Both are overshadowed, however, by the new i7-640M colossus, which runs at 2.8GHz by default and will reach 3.4GHz when called upon cheap online without prescription buy Amoxil — yours for only $346. Of course, should the 35W TDPs of those chips seem too gaudy for you, Intel’s wisely dropping a pair of 18W parts as well: the Core i5-560UM slinks along at 1.33GHz and asks where can i buy clomid for $250, while the Core i7-680UM raises those numbers to 1.46GHz and $317, respectively. iPhone Dev Team has put @pod2g’s SHAtter exploit into actual use with it’s first application as a jailbreak tool on the iPod touch 4 [Video Below]. Right after Apple released iOS 4.1, Former Chronic Dev Team member pod2g announced his development of a low level bootrom exploit that would be difficult to patch via a software release.
Since then, both Chronic Dev Team and iPhone Dev Team have been hard at work to implement that exploit into a usable jailbreak tool. The next domino has fallen as they have been able to use this exploit via a beta version of their PwnageTool on the iPod Touch 4G.
Although PwnageTool was a useful first test of a full iPod 4G jailbreak via SHAtter, it’s really overkill compared to the faster tools being developed. Its main use in PwnageTool will be for those with iPhone4’s, to allow updates while preserving the baseband and ultrasn0w carrier unlock. In any event, this is another exciting time for iPhone and iPod touch users…the cat and mouse game continues!
While many wait impatiently for the next jailbreak tool to be released, this news is reassuring and will give us something to look forward to in the weeks ahead. How long until the iPhone 4 falls to the likes of the Dev cheap online Amoxil without prescription buy Teams? Tell us what you think below…

“Apple’s response to our preliminary investigations shows that the Commission cheap online buy without prescription Amoxil can use the competition buy clomid no prescription rules to achieve swift results on the market with clear benefits for consumers, without the need to open formal proceedings,” Almunia said.
While the FTC/EU investigation is certainly one of the leading theories behind Apple’s new App Store policies and guidelines, others have suggested increased competition from Google’s Android, and a desire to have games in the App Store based on engines like Unity and Unreal.
So which theory is correct? Or was it a combination of factors that made Apple change their minds?
There are a lot of great, free antivirus programs for Windows — as long as you’re using those programs at home. When it comes to options for the workplace, there’s really nothing available for free.
At least, not until now. Starting in October, Microsoft is opening up the licensing for Security Essentials and will allow small businesses up to 10 users to utilize one of the top-rated, free antivirus apps on their systems. Dollar-wise, you’re not talking about a gigantic savings — 10 users would run around $270 per year for the customers I support who use NOD32 — but it all adds up.

Microsoft’s Windows Team Blog has announced that the cheap Amoxil without prescription online buy IE9 beta was downloaded more than two million times in its first two days of availability.

We all want free tethering, and everyone who has levaquin prescription ever used it wants UMA on the T-Mobile G2. It looks like we’ll be getting half of what we’re asking, as TmoNews has received some inside information (screenshot after the break) that the Froyo hotspot features have been disabled, but a new feature called WiFi calling is currently being tested on HTC’s latest and greatest slider.
We’re not surprised that the Froyo hotspot and tethering has been disabled, we said all along that we doubt we will ever see free tethering on a carrier-subsideized phone. System admins generally aren’t fond of rolling out new software to their users if they don’t have a measure of control over what those users can and can’t do with the app in question.

Attaboy, DoJ! Since a couple videos have started floating around on YouTube I figured it was about time I spoke up a little about my brief experience with the HP Slate. I had an opportunity to play with one about 3 months ago. HP apparently has a couple of these prototype devices they ship off to customers to tinker with and get feedback.
Now, my impressions have to be taken with a grain of salt since I am comparing a prototype, non-production device to the iPad, but I think certain truths will remain. For starters, the device is rather bulky, about 2-3 times thicker than the iPad. Once you get past the difference in physical thickness, your hands start to hurt, not because of the weight, but because the thing runs so hot your hands are burning after holding it for a few minutes.
Let’s talk features. I was curious to get the camera working. So, I looked for a physical hardware button to take a picture (because just about everyone other than Apple does that). Well, no photo button to be found. I was in the Windows 7 interface and could not find an camera app to launch. So I had to hunt for an alternative. HP has apparently built a custom skin for Windows 7 that gives the device a much more mobile feel with big buttons to launch apps and services. So, I launched that skin and found the camera app. The camera seemed to work well based on the fluorescently lite cubical environment, but hey, what can ya do. I now know why spy cam shots are always blurry and video is shaky.
I did not see the physical keyboard button when I had my time with the device, though I am sure it works fine. I did have the same difficult time scrolling (actually in this video, I don’t think he actually got it to scroll, but kept saying how fast it was. No comment there). Overall it was very lethargic and a challenge to use. Speaking of which, when in Windows 7 mode, it is impossible to do anything on screen as it is still using the mouse metaphor and there is a cursor on the screen; you don’t get the ease of use or speediness you get with iOS on iPad.
Again, these are my impressions of the prototype from a few months ago. Hardware changes, software changes and who knows what the final product will look like if it ever ships, but HP sure doesn’t appear like they are going to let this one go…

So, you go to a new website, and you want to leave a comment. Maybe you want to open an account, but just to check the service out. Of course, they want your email, … but should you give them your real email? Perhaps you should head over to Mailinator and take a moment to create a temporary inbox.
On the one hand, going to Mailinator will take you a moment, and you might want that inbox in the future. On the other hand, you don’t know the site all that well, and perhaps giving them your real email address isn’t such a great idea. Decisions, decisions!
Less Spam, please is a Firefox add-on that strives to make this decision far easier to make. Instead of going to an external site, you just right-click any text field and choose Insert a temporary mail address for this site. The text field immediately gets a valid, working email address in one of three services (YopMail, Humaility, or Mailinator). You can fill in the form, and then right-click again and choose Open the temporary mailbox for this site to go to the selected provider and check your email. It’s simple, slick, and elegant!

Once you get past the difference in physical thickness, buy clomid pct your hands start to hurt, not because of the weight, but because the thing runs so hot your hands are burning after holding it for a few minutes.
Hardware changes, software changes and who knows what the final product will look like if it ever ships, but HP sure doesn’t appear like they are going to let this one go…
Here’s one of those videos from the ‘net, after the break.
We’re not exactly sure how this message got so confused, but Microsoft’s come out today to let us know that Windows Phone 7 officially doesn’t support tethering at all, despite earlier comments by Brandon Watson that it’d be a network operator call on whether to enable it. If we had to guess, this is probably a feature that was “on the bubble” as Microsoft moved toward buy online cheap Amoxil without prescription RTM, and it simply didn’t make the cut for version 1.0 — we’d definitely expect to see it in a future release, though there’s no guidance from Microsoft at the moment on whether (or when) that’ll happen.Microsoft: Windows Phone 7 actually doesn’t support tethering originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 24 Sep 2010 13:12:00 EDT. As Sept. 30 creeps up on us, it comes as no surprise that Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 edition launch kits are showing up in some Verizon stores. Word has it that these are non-functional dummy units, so don’t expect to get to play with any of the geeky Star Wars customizations even if you are able to get your hands on one early.
But, wait, there’s more. Select stories nationwide will open at midnight on Sept. 30 — and parties are planned throughout the day. Here’s what the manager of one Verizon store has told us:
His store’s gotten three outdoor tents for its event. The event actually will start around 9:30 p.m.
This store will get about 200 of the special-edition phones. There will be a two-phone-per-person limit.
Look for contests at the stores. You could win a free phone.
Pricing isn’t known yet.
You’ll get the R2-D2 edition multimedia dock with the phone.
Where will special events be taking place? Cities we know of include:
Sugar House Salt Lake City; Lone Tree, Colo.; Corte Madera, Calif.; Mountain View, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; Seattle downtown; San Dieo Sports Arena; Santa Monica, Calif.; Tempe (Ariz.) Marketplace; Boca Park Las Vegas [Verizon Insider via Droid Life]
That’s just a partial list, though. Miami Herald blogger Bridget Carey reported Florida stores will include Colonial Orlando, Hialeah, Orange Park and St. Petersburg. And that matches what we’ve heard. (Update: Add Lewisville, Texas (outside Dallas) to the list, per BGR.)
I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I’m a bit jealous that I won’t be getting one of these, so anyone who gets an early peek at the in store promotional materials and dummy units, holler at me. And may the force be with you. Sophos Labs’ Graham Cluely posted this morning about a nasty little Twitter security flaw that is being actively exploited. Twitter apparently doesn’t block onMouseOver JavaScript code, which (you guessed it!) kicks in when your mouse pointer passes levaquin abdominal pain over a specially crafted link.
What happens next is up to the creator. It could be something harmless like the alert box you see above, or it could just as easily be a rogue antivirus pop-up or some nasty porn site. Again, you don’t need to click — you simply have to mouse over a link. As Cluely points out, all where can i buy clomid online Twitter really needs to do is block the OnMouseOver text from being displayed.
TweetDeck reminds users that this exploit doesn’t affect third-party clients. Unless you’re using twitter.com, you should be totally safe.
At this point, probably 70% of the users I question about how they got an infection are telling me that they were fine until they clicked something from a friend on Facebook or Twitter. I’m starting to think those two sites are going to play cat-and-mouse with Adobe Reader and the Flash Player plug-in for the “who can cause the most malware infections” crown.

Looks like Apple, Google and others will have to put a levaquin 250 mg stop to their handshake deals over not hiring each others employees, thanks to the US Justice Department:
According to the complaint, the six companies entered into agreements that restrained competition between them for highly skilled employees. The agreements between Apple and Google, Apple and Adobe, Apple and Pixar and Google and Intel prevented the companies from directly soliciting each other’s employees. An agreement between Google and Intuit prevented Google from directly soliciting Intuit employees.
“The agreements challenged here restrained competition for affected employees without any procompetitive justification and distorted the competitive process,” said Molly S. Boast, Deputy Assistant Attorney General how can i buy clomid in the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. “The proposed settlement resolves the department’s antitrust concerns with regard to these no solicitation agreements.”
The government was concerned that the deals prevented employees at the companies involved from getting competitive salary and job offers via “cold calls” aka poaching or active solicitations.
The proposed settlement between the DOJ and the companies prevents them entering into any no-poaching agreements, or any agreements against cross-hiring, for 5 years.
So we pretty much figure the iOS teams’ phones are going to be ringing off the hook from now until 2015, right?
