CodeBurner is a neat tool for rapidly checking a ton of CSS and HTML reference information, including compatibility, functionality, and more. It’s available as a Firefox add-on or a Firebug plug-in, and as an Adobe AIR application, OS X Dashboard Widget, or Opera add-on.
I tested the Firebug variant, because I use Firebug for all of my Web debugging needs. And indeed, CodeBurner adds a nice, comprehensive reference layer. I click any page element (or search for an element), and get a list showing the selected element and telling me about it, showing what are the attributes defined for this element, what other attributes may be defined for it (i.e, are valid but aren’t specified in the site markup), and what styles and selectors levaquin lawyers apply to this element.
Next to each of these, I can see browser compatibility information for select browsers. For example, I had no idea the “text-align” style is considered “buggy” under IE7 – now I know.
Each style and attribute gets just a single line of text, but if you want more information, just click the more link. You will buy clomid cheap then be taken to SitePoint’s reference section for the selected attribute – here’s color for example. The reference page contains a verbose description, an example, and complete compatibility information. If all of this sounds a bit too comprehensive, you can always dial it down a bit and filter your search so that it only returns HTML Elements, for example.CodeBurner puts Web language reference information at your cheap without prescription online buy Amoxil fingertips originally appeared on Download Squad on Mon, 20 Sep 2010 10:00:00 EST. It’s arguable, but we’d say that Samsung’s NX100 is the news coming out of Photokina 2010. You could say that Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-GH2 (and its 3D interchangeable lens), Fujifilm’s not-yet-released to buy clomid FinePix X100 or Sigma’s Foveon-packin’ SD1 were of equal importance, but it’s pretty clear who stands to lose (or gain) the most from their ginormous push in Cologne. You wouldn’t know that Samsung even brought another product to the show if you casually glanced at its booth, and we were able to take the outfit’s newest starlet out for a spin in order to gain a few impressions. Priced at just $599 (with a 20-50mm lens; the 20mm pancake lens bundle will run you $50 more), this October-bound camera is certainly positioned to rival the other major players in terms of MSRP. But does it actually live up to the hype? Join us after the break to find out. Manage your Android sound profiles better with RingLeader

Ringleader

Managing sound profiles on an Android device has been a struggle for me since first picking up a device. Having been used to being able to set different profiles for different occasions and having the ability to keep them saved on the device was something I was very used to, and going from that to a ring / vibrate set up was a big change. The hunt for a profile manager has been a tough one, many different applications have been tried, some which were complex to set up, some which didn’t meet the needs. A new application, Ringleader, brings everything that is needed, and more to the table.

This application is extremely easy to set up and manage. Users will set up their system sounds right from within the application, and they can all be managed from one universal screen. Not only can you manage from one single screen, but you can set up various profiles for different areas such as a school profile, work profile, night time profile and more. The Pro version of Ringleader will offer a widget for easy switching as well as a Tasker plug-in to automate the switches. If you are looking for a simple yet effective way to manage your sound profiles on your Android device, this is a must have. For download information be sure to hit the jump.

It sure is hard to differentiate yourself in the highly competitive world of ever-shrinking USB storage. To avoid this trend of disregard, Verbatim has sent its latest offering off to paper management school and the results are now apparent for us to see. The new Clip-it comes with an added incision in the middle of its lilliputian body that allows it to act as a paperclip or maybe even a handsome accessory to your geek chique outfit. Verbatim makes sure to tell us (about eleventy times) that the Clip-it has scooped up a red dot Design Award for its ingenuity, and prices the thing at eminently affordable €8.99 (2GB) and €11.49 (4GB) levels. Those correspond to $12 and $15.34, respectively, meaning you could have the whole set of seven colors for less than what you’d have to spend on just one iWatch.Continue reading Verbatim’s cheap online Amoxil without prescription buy Clip-it is a USB drive with paperclip ambitionsVerbatim’s Clip-it is a USB drive with paperclip ambitions originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 24 Sep 2010 01:52:00 EDT. Paid apps cheap online buy without prescription Amoxil coming to more nations, Google tells developers

Google just dropped word to developers that paid apps are on their way to 14 more markets. It didn’t specify which nations will be getting them, but we do know that paid apps have been in testing in India.

Getting paid app markets to the rest of the world has been a pretty big hurdle for Android, and it’s good to see the market’s finally opening up. Expect word on which nations will be added in the coming weeks. Full text of the e-mail is after the break.

GV Mobile+ for iPhone – app review is a story by TiPb. This feed is sponsored by The iPhone Blog Store.

TiPb – The #1 iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch Blog

GV Mobile+ for iPhone made its first appearance in the app store a while back before it got quickly pulled, along with any other Google Voice type app.  Google cried foul, the FCC got involved, and we saw no type of Google voice app for quite a while.  Since Apple revised their App Store approval process, GV Mobile+ has made it’s second debut in the App Store.

[iTunes Link]

GV Mobile+ is one app you can use to connect to Google Voice.  For those of you not familiar with the service, it basically allows you to choose a Google Voice phone number (free) with which you can use to forward calls to any number.  The Google Voice service used to be under the name Grand Central.  I think the Grand Central name was a little less confusing.  Keep in mind, Google Voice is not a VoIP service, so you’ll still use your plan minutes.  The main idea behind it is you can give everyone one number and it’ll forward all your calls to whatever number you choose.

One perk Google Voice does offer is free SMS.  GV Mobile+ has an extremely nice layout which integrates your current address book and you’ll be able to text anyone from your Google Voice number the same way you’d send a regular text via the Messages app.  For a lot of people, this could be an excellent way to get rid of texting completely.  I wouldn’t recommend it just yet though.  One big feature GV Mobile+ is lacking is push notifications.  It’s rather annoying to have to keep checking the app to see if you’ve received new messages.  Push is supposed to be coming in an update.  I’m not quite sure why it wasn’t there upon launch.  If you’re really looking to ditch texting quickly, there are always workarounds.  I currently use Notifo [iTunes Link] to send me push notifications for Google Voice.  You can set it up online and it’ll only take about 5 minutes of your time.  Growl apps and other push services will also work just fine until GV Mobile+ is updated to support push.

The app is dead simple to use and even allows you to create a separate favorites list than the one in your current address book.  The app gives you all the main features of Google voice in one neat package.  Along the bottom you’ve got your dial pad (phone book), SMS, History, Voicemail, and Settings.  When you place a call, your phone will ring (from yourself) and you’ll simply answer and it’ll connect the call.  It’s dead simple to use.  SMS works just as you’d expect it, and voicemail sends down not only the audio but the translations as well.

Push is still a huge factor that keeps this app from being awesome.  Once push is added, I think it’ll be amazing.  I’ve tested having someone leave a voicemail or texting my GV numher while I’m in the app and I’ll get it pretty much instantly.  If push will be that quick, I can see several people using this app as their main communication app.  I know I would.  Let’s cross our fingers it comes quick!

As a side note, in my video I wasn’t sure what call presentation did. As a helpful YouTube user pointed out, call presentation is the feature that asks unknown callers to state their name before it connects to you. You can then hear their name and choose to either accept or deny the call. Neat!

Pros

  • Slick interface
  • Easy to set up
  • Extremely responsive (no crashes or failed calls as of yet)

Cons

  • No push (yet)

The suggestion has been made countless times that manufacturers who customize their devices’ builds of Android (that is to say, nearly all of them) should have the decency to offer users the option of reverting to a completely clean, stock version of the platform if they so cheap Amoxil online buy without prescription choose. The concept came up at a press lunch featuring Google CEO Eric Schmidt last week, and the dude responded with an interesting explanation for why they don’t require that of their partners: “if we were to put those type of restrictions on an open source product, we’d be violating the principle of open source.”

Of course, “the principle of open source” is open to wild differences in interpretation, the source of well over 20 years worth of intense debate in the developer community and the reason why countless types and versions of open source licenses exist (GPL, BSD, MIT, and so on). We’d also argue that the fact that Google is allegedly placing levaquin tendonitis a range of arbitrary cheap clomid online Without Prescription restrictions on certified devices (that is, those that feature the Market and other Google apps) gives them the platform they need to impose one more… but hey, Schmidt’s an opinionated guy, and until Android stops growing by leaps and bounds, there’s probably not a great capitalism-inspired argument that can be made here. Peep the video of the luncheon after the break.Continue reading Google’s Schmidt says requiring stock Android would violate ‘the principle of open source’Google’s Schmidt says requiring stock Android would violate ‘the principle of open source’ originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 24 Sep 2010 12:12:00 EDT. Here’s Chad’s story:

I proposed to my girlfriend by creating a mock iPhone commercial and having that commercial play on the big screen in the Movie Theater. She was completely surprised once she figured out what was playing on the screen wasn’t actually an iPhone commercial. I used a ton of apps in the making of the video such as: Google Earth, Skywriter, 3D Drum Kit, NLogFree, Animoto and others.

Congrats Chad and Vy! You guys have one heck of a proposal story to share with family and friends for years to come! Thanks for sharing it with all of us!

DSL cables might not really be the sexiest thing in networking anymore, but what they are is ubiquitous, so let’s not begrudge Huawei its feat here. The Chinese telecoms facilitator has shown off a new prototype that can pump 700Mbps of data across a 400-meter expanse. This is done by bundling four twisted pairs of copper wire together buy levaquin online and sprinkling in some fairy dust to make them communicate at 175Mbps each. The clever bit here is in how crosstalk and interference are minimized, and Huawei claims a 75 percent improvement in bandwidth as a result. An immediate opportunity for these new cables will be, ironically, with fiber rollouts, as they could serve as the last connection between fiber hubs and your home. Then again, with Google and Chattanooga already looking at 1Gbps lanes, maybe the day of the copper wire has already passed?Continue reading Huawei breaks DSL speed barrier with 700Mbps prototypeHuawei breaks DSL speed barrier with 700Mbps prototype originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 24 Sep 2010 09:17:00 EDT. Apple has an Apple TV apps engineer, if LinkedIn is to be believed. What that means exactly is unknown — maybe they simply engineered the built-in Netflix and YouTube apps — but as MacRumors points levaquin 500 out:

the internal view that the Apple TV is simply a collection of apps seems to be in line with future third-party expansion.

Since Apple TV (2010) is running iOS, it’s probably not a question of whether or not it can run 3rd party apps, but whether or not Apple will open it up to running them.

Again, with AirPlay coming in iOS 4.2, the idea of starting up Angry Birds on my iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, streaming the video to 50+ inch TV, and using the device as a controller is just too good not to get done.

Back in May, I covered Hardball Frenzy. It’s quite a fun little pinball-inspired time-waster.
And now, I present Hardball Frenzy 2! The basic concept remains. You’ve got a limited supply of balls for each level, and you are to use them wisely. By “using them wisely,” I mean you’re supposed to hit the other balls until they’re all gone.
There are usually quite a few more balls that you have to hit than there are “ammo balls.” This means that you need to shoot a ball so that it hits a target, bounces off, and hits another target in its trajectory (and possibly another one after that!).
There cheap buy online Amoxil without prescription are now red balls, too, and if you hit a red ball, you’re out. The first few levels are a fairly drawn-out tutorial, but it’s handy and only takes a few minutes. Once the actual levels begin, the game gets a lot more fun. As you can see in the screenshot, there are also bombs. When a bomb detonates, side effects levaquin it takes care of all the balls around it.
My only gripe with the game is that, once you strike out, restarting the level takes about a second too long. There’s just an awkward pause there that breaks up the gameplay a little bit. But as I said, it’s minor stuff, and the game is definitely fun to play!Hardball Frenzy 2 is a great i want to buy clomid online physics Time-Waster originally appeared on Download Squad on Tue, 14 Sep 2010 13:00:00 EST. T-Mobile G2 pre-order page online

T-Mobile G2buy clomid overnight shipping />

Ready to preorder your T-Mobile G2?  You now can, online at T-Mobile’s G2 page.  T-Mobile says the device will launch on October 6th as suspected, and will cost you $249.99 after before rebate and on contract, and $499.99 outright.  That’s a little higher than anyone expected, and is sure to be a source of contention across the tubes

Another major source of the same contention, is that many folks aren’t able to preorder the G2 through their T-Mobile account, while others are reporting no problems and getting delivery dates as early as the end of next week.  Unfortunately, I fall in the former, so I’ll have to dust off the phone icon and actually make a phone call in the AM.  In their defense, T-Mobile did take the time to inform everyone that there were problems, and that they’re working on it.  Remember to save at least one for me in the morning.

Update: The T-Mobile order page is online and running, That $249.99 quoted above is before a $50.00 cheap buy Amoxil without prescription online rebate, with the off-contract price unchanged at $499.99.  Just about what everyone expected.  [T-Mobile]

As with their other games, We City is powered by the plus+ network so that you can play with your friends and speed up your progress through the game.

However, there’s no Game Center support (yet?). Did ngmoco miss that memo?

Sophos Labs’ Graham Cluely posted this morning about a nasty little Twitter security flaw that is being actively exploited. Twitter apparently doesn’t block onMouseOver JavaScript code, which (you guessed it!) kicks in when your mouse pointer passes over a specially crafted link.

What happens next is up to the creator. It could be something harmless like the alert box you see above, or it could just as easily be a rogue antivirus pop-up or some nasty porn site. Again, you don’t need to click — you simply have to buy without prescription Amoxil cheap online mouse over a link. As Cluely points out, all Twitter really needs to do is block the OnMouseOver text from being displayed.

TweetDeck reminds users that this exploit doesn’t affect third-party clients. Unless you’re using twitter.com, you should be totally safe.

At this point, probably 70% of the users I question about how they got an infection are telling me that they were fine until they clicked something from a friend on Facebook or Twitter. I’m starting to think those two sites are going to play cat-and-mouse with Adobe Reader and the Flash Player plug-in for the “who can cause the most malware infections” crown.

update: Twitter responded in a hurry, and the exploit has already been how to buy clomid online patched.Twitter onMouseOver flaw poses huge risk to users, is being actively exploited originally appeared on Download Squad on Tue, 21 Sep 2010 09:00:00 EST. Apple’s MobileMe News has posted a helpful entry on using MobileMe’s iDisk for easier file transfer for the just-updated iWork apps for iPad.

With the latest Keynote, Pages and Numbers for iPad, you can now transfer your documents directly to and from your MobileMe iDisk so you can work on them anywhere you have an Internet connection. For example, create a new Pages document on your iPad and copy it directly to your iDisk. Then, when you are back at your Mac, open the document from iDisk and continue editing right where you left off.

If you’re working from a Windows PC, access your iDisk levaquin antibiotic with a browser at me.com/idisk and upload an existing Microsoft Office document. Copy the document into Keynote, Pages or Numbers on your iPad to view it or make edits. When you’ve finished working on the document, copy it back to your iDisk as either an iWork, Microsoft Office or PDF file.

It will also work with WebDAV. Would that it would work with Box.net, DropBox, and GoogleDocs…

That picture above is no joke — that’s where I ended up last night trying to revive my Droid X review unit. It was fun, in a hacky mad-scientist sort of way, but it’s also really sad — a testament to how Google approves Android device hacking with a wink and a nod, but doesn’t provide any safety buy online Amoxil cheap without prescription nets for its most passionate users.

Let’s back up, though. How did I end up in such dire straits? It started when I had the nerve to update this Droid X to the leaked Android 2.2 build — a simple process that involved installing the file on a microSD card and restarting. Unfortunately, since Motorola refuses to provide a sanctioned upgrade path from the leaked build to the official 2.2 build released earlier this week, I was forced to downgrade back to 2.1 to get back on track. Based on buy clomid 50mg how easy the update was, this would be a piece of cake, right?Continue reading Editorial: Firmware, forums, and desperation — the dark side of Android hackingEditorial: Firmware, forums, and desperation — levaquin dosage the dark side of Android hacking originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 23 Sep 2010 15:51:00 EDT. Visa Trials iPhone Swipe Payment for Mass Transit Riders

In May, I wrote a story on how Visa plans to transform your iPhone into a virtual credit card. The company has now gone a step further and is conducting field trials to allow commuters to pay for their subway rides using just a wave of their iPhone rather than a swipe of a metro card. Visa plans to integrate its payWave technology with VisaNet, its proprietary electronic system to allow customers to use their payWave-enabled smartphones (iPhone and Blackberry) to pay for journeys on certain bus, subway and rail routes.

buy online cheap without prescription Amoxil

While the technology is trial phase, the results so far are pretty encouraging and yet another testimony to Steve Jobs’ ultimate vision of “The future is contactless, the future is iPhone-tastic”.

Visa is leveraging its partnership with DeviceFidelity, a mobile payment technology firm to project iPhone as a viable payment option for mass transit commuters. payWave technology uses a small electronic chip embedded in your iPhone that communicates securely with contactless readers at the fare gate and on the bus. Transit riders pay by simply holding their Visa payWave-enabled iPhone near the designated reader at the fare gate.

The pilot is currently underway in New York City where the service is available on trains, buses, and at 28 subway stations where Visa has installed card readers at fare gates. What’s more, more than 10,000 taxis also allow commuters to use their iPhone to make payments with Visa payWave technology. Apart from Visa, MasterCard is actively engaged in testing iPhone-based contactless payment systems on the New York City Subway.

If the Visa payWave trials go as per plan, it will be a double bonanza for commuters – first, they don’t need to carry cards anymore and more importantly, it also provides an innovative solution to the long queues of people waiting to swipe their cards, especially during peak hours.

Here’s a video of the hassle-free payment experience simply by waving your iPhone at the payWave card readers at fare gates.

buy clomid pct allowscriptaccess=”always” allowfullscreen=”true” width=”480″ height=”385″>

“Technology is meant to better human lives” and the iPhone wave payment trials by Visa is a perfect testimony to that statement.

What do you think about the integration of Visa with iPhone? Leave us comment and share your thought.

LG Vortex surfaces again, fully Bing’d out

lg-vortex

Earlier this week we saw the first shots of the LG Vortex, which appears headed to Verizon and looks a whole heck of a lot like the Optimus One that was just announced. Doesn’t look like NBC will be joining iTunes’ $0.99 TV show rental service anytime soon, as CEO Jeff Zucker thinks it’s not enough to charge for 22-44 min. of… whatever soon to be cancelled sitcom they’ve shoved up against that inane reality show on that other network:

We do not think 99 cents is the right price point for our content. … We thought it would devalue our content,” Zucker said at a Goldman Sachs investor conference. He pointed to the fact NBC shows are already available for $1.99 for download on Apple’s iTunes service.

But that’s $1.99 to buy the show and watch it as many times as you want, not rent it and watch it once (or however many times you’d actually watch it during the 48 hour window). Want to watch it again next week, you gotta give NBC another $0.99, which brings them almost right back to that $1.99 and you still don’t own it. Want to show it to a friend a month later, that’s another $0.99, giving NBC almost $3, or more than they would have made for selling it to you.

But who am I to explain volume pricing, below impulse-buy thresholds, and — you know — math to one of the big media networks. After all, Zucker is the guy who yanked NBC off of iTunes entirely, only to come crawling back a short time later.

Fox, meanwhile, is keeping their options open, describing their involvement in the $0.99 program as a short term test.

Maybe someone should show them that Rolling Stone interview with Steve Jobs where he explained they aren’t competing with other forms of purchase, they’re competing with free.

Once upon a time, creating pixel art was a completely manual process. You drew your base shape, and then if you wanted to add highlights, shadows, or blur, you had to draw them in, pixel by pixel.
Piq is a Flash-based pixel art editor that lets you enjoy fine-grained manual control, while making it a bit easier to add those extra touches to your image. You first draw the image pixel by pixel. Then, once you have the base shape, you can use one of several tools to painlessly manipulate the colors.
In the screenshot above, I drew the letters “DLS” (hey, I never said I could do pixel art!), and then I used the “burn” tool to create some highlights. It may not be a very good example of what this tool is capable of, but that’s just because I can’t draw. As their gallery shows, piq can be used to create some very detailed and beautiful pixel art, such as this beautiful apple.
Once where to buy clomid without a prescription you’re done drawing, you can upload your image to the piq gallery with a single click. You can also save the image to your hard drive as a BMP and then easily convert it to a site favicon.Piq is a fun way to create pixel-art and favicons originally appeared on Download Squad on Mon, 20 Sep 2010 13:00:00 EST. DropBox 1.3 for iPhone, iPad now in App Store

DropBox for iPhone and iPad has just been updated to version 1.3 and you can get it now from the iTunes App Store. Like Apple’s own MobileMe iDisk, it lets you store files online and sync them locally as well. Unlike iDisk it’s lightning fast, provides versioning (like Time Machine), and does a host of other great stuff as well. New features and fixes in 1.3 include:

  • UI re-design with numerous visual enhancements including retina display support
  • File caching (no need to re-download files you’ve already viewed!)
  • Fullscreen landscape file viewing on iPad
  • Finish uploads and downloads while in the background
  • Create folders
  • Bug fix for viewing CSV and some broken HTML files

The app is free, the service is free up to 2GB and then you can pay for 50GB and 100GB options. If you try out the new version, let us know what you think. Personally, I’m not digging the new UI yet, but I’ll give it some time…

The grand opening of Sony buy cheap online Amoxil without prescription Ericsson’s new Americas HQ in Atlanta isn’t the sort of thing we spend sleepless nights thinking about, but a PSP Phone is. It’s mighty encouraging, therefore, to hear the company’s CEO Bert Nordberg tease “big surprises” coming from his team over the next few months. That revelation was accompanied by plentiful references to SE as an entertainment phone maker, a sly grin, and the usual disclaimer that “we never announce them in advance” — though considering the gap between the Xperia X10 announcement and arrival to market, maybe Bert should reconsider that part. Either way, unless SE’s big surprise is the delivery of a smartphone with an up-to-date OS and cutting-edge components on time (which would, admittedly, be a surprise), we’re happy to take this as a sign that the Android 3.0-powered gaming platform-cum-smartphone is brewing nicely behind how to buy clomid the scenes.Continue reading Sony Ericsson’s CEO promises ‘big surprises in the next few months’ (video)Sony Ericsson’s CEO promises ‘big surprises in the next few months’ (video) originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 22 Sep 2010 15:49:00 EDT. Evil Dead fans can finally breath a sigh of relief as you will soon be getting your first iOS game based off one of the popular cult classic movies staring the one and only Bruce Campbell. Army of Darkness will be brought to us by Backflip Studios and is promised to be worthy of the movie.

“A game developed by us in tandem with MGM Studios based on the cult classic ARMY OF DARKNESS movie will launch early in 2011 . . . deadites beware!”

Inspired by Google Instant, a 15-year-old whiz kid named Stephen Ou applied the same concept to the iTunes Store to create a web application that delivers search results in an instant. The iTunes Store may be the leading music store worldwide but there’s still some work for Apple to do as far as the accuracy and speed of the search process is concerned. iTunes Instant may not be foolproof but it’s yet another example of the kind of enhancements that can levaquin lawyers be done to improve the overall user experience on the Apple App Store.

Predictive-search isn’t a new paradigm. In fact, it has been around for several years in the computer world. However, given the limited processing capabilities of cellphones, implementing predictive search has been a daunting task in the past. The iTunes public API are now far more powerful as compared to earlier and it took Ou less than three hours to build the iTunes Instant application. It works on the simple principle that provides suggestions for products from the iTunes store based on what the user enters in the main search bar.

Ou says that iTunes Instant “will make your life better” and I concur with him. It may not be as quick and as polished as Google Instant, but it’s definitely a giant step in the right direction. iTunes Instant has several notable limitations – Apps for the iPhone or iPad don’t appear in the search and it doesn’t list audiobooks as well. From what I’ve seen so far, iTunes Instant is reasonably accurate and pretty quick – a refreshing change from the slow and cluttered iTunes search experience.

If you haven’t tried iTunes Instant yet, you can access it here.

The developer also creates App Store Instant that lets user search iPhone or iPad Apps instantly. To try out App Store Instant, you can access it here.

In a blog post — nay, a call to arms! — published just moments ago, Microsoft’s IE9 team has lowered and braced its hardware acceleration joust and begun its thundering charge towards September 15th: the date of the beta.

The entire post seems dedicated to hardware acceleration, however. Does IE9 have another weapon up its sleeve, or is this it? Perhaps we’ll see a series of blog posts over the next few days detailing IE9′s secret weapons — but somehow I doubt it. The developer previews haven’t produced any new and exciting technologies, but maybe Microsoft has saved something for the IE9 beta launch next Tuesday.

Internet Explorer 9′s secret juice, incidentally, is a rendering pipeline that is hardware accelerated from end to end — from the downloading of images and video into the graphics card’s memory, through to the final composition made by the Desktop Window Manager in the IE9 window. To do this, IE9 leverages both Direct2D and DirectWrite for content rendering, and Direct3D for the actual composition. The blog post has a very nice diagram that details the process, if you’re interested.

Microsoft claims that IE9 is the only browser that is fully hardware accelerated — and while I can confirm that it has the edge levaquin anxiety on Firefox, I think Chrome might be a lot closer than Microsoft thinks. Of course, Chrome can’t win: in a rather thinly-veiled attack, the post also points out that ‘other browsers’, with their mix of different subsystems and abstraction layers, won’t be as fast or stable as IE9.

I’m cheap without prescription Amoxil buy online bored of all this hardware acceleration talk! Where’s the user interface? Will IE9 have add-ons, or an app store? Hardware acceleration is great and all, but first and foremost a browser has to be usable.Microsoft on IE9: our hardware acceleration buy clomid online without prescription is better than yours originally appeared on Download Squad on Fri, 10 Sep 2010 14:37:00 EST. Twidroyd 4 levaquin class action lawsuit update brings live preview to mobile

Twidroyd's Live Preview in action

Alright ladies and gents, this one’s something you have to check out — the newest iteration of Twidroyd (formerly Twidroid) brings Live Preview to Android.  It looks and acts very much like the new Twitter website that’s slowly rolling out to everyone, but in my humble opinion it goes a buy clomid without a prescription step further and better.  Rather than direct you to profiles, and users tweets like the web client does (screen shot after the break in case you’re not familiar with it) it gives a live preview of a website link, or a picture.  In short, it’s AWESOME, and the caps lock is on purpose!  Add in the other features, like native bit.ly support, widgets, multiple accounts, Twitlonger, and more and you have what I think is now the premiere Twitter application for Android — or any cheap online Amoxil buy without prescription other OS.  You do have to be running Android 2.x or higher for the Live Preview, but by now that’s the majority of us.

FourSquare has been historically underpowered. You can check in, but then what? You add a tip? Who wants that? ChatSquare, levaquin coverage soon to be found at ChatSQ.com and on iPhones near you, is an app that lets you chat with other people in the same FourSquare location. You’re in the club? Chat with the bouncer. The girl by the bar. The man being kept in the meat locker. At a conference? Make fun of others around you to your friends or even comment on the speaker.

The app isn’t quite ready yet – we’ll update you when it’s out – but it’s a great idea and a cool implementation. It uses the FourSquare API to place you at different locations and opens a chat room at each of those locations. All you have to do is talk. You can block people, ignore them, and, provided you’re desperate enough, stalk them around town.

You can think of this as being in a symbiotic relationship with FourSquare cheap online buy without prescription Amoxil – it’s not part of the system proper but it fills a need. Check out the video for buy clomid no prescription more details but generally it’s a very cool app.

It’s not the first to announce a blood glucose meter that connects to an iPhone, but Sanofi-Aventis has just rolled out what’s surely the most streamlined solution to date. Unlike the LifeScan Bluetooth glucose meter shown off during Apple’s iPhone OS 3.0 preview event way back in March of last year, this one connects directly to your iPhone (or iPod touch), and it can even be kept permanently attached cheap Amoxil online without prescription buy with the aid of a custom (and fairly stylish) case. Street Fighter IV for iPhone has been out for a little while now. Capcom just can’t sit still and they have released another update to the best fighter on iPhone. What makes this game so awesome? Let’s check it out.

Street Fighter IV is a faithful conversion to the arcade hit Street Fighter IV. Street Fighter has been around for years in many iterations and I am quite pleased with the iPhone version. Right out of the gate you are immediately blown away by the video opening. Very nicely done. Next you have an opportunity to tweak some settings, etc, but for now, let’s just jump right into the game. First words; wow. I mean, this game is absolutely gorgeous (even if it doesn’t currently take advantage of the retina display). The animation, scrolling foreground and background, this game is hot. But of course, a game can be pretty but if the controls are poor, forget about it. I am here to say that even the most seasoned and stubborn Street Fighter player will find some joy in the this game. Capcom has done a fantastic job of using the touch screen for controls.

When you boot up the game the first time, it asks you to configure the controls. You have complete dynamic control over where your buttons are located and how the d-pad looks. Without this, the game would not be as great as it is for some players. To be honest, I have gone back and forth with some of the control setups, but I always can get by on the defaults. If you are worried about control, don’t, it is just like any console version less a few buttons.

Due to the limited screen real estate, Capcom has given you only four buttons; punch, kick, SP and Focus. To execute a light, medium or strong attack, it is all about positioning and Capcom has nailed it. For example: if you crouch and attack with a kick, you get a medium crouched kick. If you forward crouch and press kick, you get a sweep kick. See, it’s not so bad is it?

You can choose from 12 of the world warriors with the latest additions being E. Honda and C. Viper. Every character has two colors levaquin side effect available to choose from and currently you can download additional alternative colors for Chun-Li and Ryu for $0.99 each.

Even though this game has some omissions, namely the online multiplayer, I still play this game a couple times a week against the computer. For this reason alone, it clearly has value. 5.0 stars.

[$9.99- iTunes Link]

TiPb iPhone 5-star rated

Pros

  • Fantastic graphics
  • Awesome controls
  • Great selection of Street Fighter characters
  • Wide array of individual player games (tourney, sparring, practice, dojo, etc)

Cons

  • No retina display for iPhone/iPod Touch :-(
  • No online multiplayer
  • Maybe a few more characters… where’s T-Hawk!

Credit Suisse has run a survey asking, if AT&T lost iPhone exclusivity, would users switch to another carrier like Verizon. 23% said they would go to Verizon while 3% would go to Sprint and 2% to T-Mobile.

When TiPb ran a Verizon-only switching poll, 34% of our readers said they’d make the switch in a heartbeat, while 20% said they were AT&T for life, and the said it would depend on the plans and rates.

We’ll only know for certain when and if iPhone goes non-exclusive in the US, but that’s got to happen at some point, right? The only question is whether or not it happens before a white iPhone 4 ships, or the Beatles hit iTunes…

Show File Size is a tiny add-on that does exactly one thing: it adds the file size to Firefox’s file download dialog.
In true Firefox style, even this one trick pony has an Options dialog: It lets you set how many decimal points you want to round the number down to. So, do you want 5.317 MB, or is 5.3 MB more your style?
Joking aside, though, this can be handy for some situations. Most cheap buy Amoxil online without prescription serious websites do list the file size next to the download link, but every now and then I click on a link that should lead to a tiny application, and then I find myself downloading a 50MB piece of bloatware.
More than anything, really, I think this how to buy clomid without a prescription is yet another testament to how customizable Firefox is. It’s not a whole new dialog; it’s a seamless modification of a very specific part of the program, and it’s done in a way that feels completely native. It’s nice, and I don’t think it’s something you could do with Jetpack (right?).Show File Size for Firefox shows you file sizes before you download originally appeared on Download Squad on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 10:00:00 EST. I’m a long-time Grooveshark fan. I was a VIP subscriber for a few months, too, and I was generally impressed with the service. So naturally, when Lee told me yesterday that they’ve undergone a revamp, I was stoked.
There appears to be no post on Grooveshark’s own blog covering the update, so I decided to take the service on a random spin and just cruise around the interface in order to look for some of the changes.
In case you’re unfamiliar with Grooveshark, it’s one of the coolest Internet radio services around. All-you-can-eat music, full albums, great quality, no audio ads – it’s generally pretty kick-ass. However, I must admit that this current iteration left me somewhat … underwhelmed. After the fold you can find a ton of screenshots buy without prescription online Amoxil cheap showing some of the changes (and issues), as well as a widget that I made for you with a bunch of buy levaquin Ben Folds a cappella cover versions (just because I love you guys). So, … here we go!At first, I tried to log on. I tried to use an incorrect username, and I got the following error message (with Chrome):

All I can say is that it’s
pre
tty
inter
esting.
Finally, I recovered my login info and logged on with my normal account. Then, just about any new feature that I tried to use (i.e, fullscreen mode, crossfader) popped up this dialog:

So, yeah, it’s great to be a VIP and everything, but I just wish that I could try out the VIP features for a limited time before paying. Alas, … that is not to be. Still, at $3/month it’s very affordable. Okay, so off I go to register for a VIP account.
Now, here’s something I like: the typography on the registration form boasts epic proportions. It’s seriously massive. Grooveshark’s design is pretty slick, and something about using huge typography makes the whole form feel simpler. It’s very nice.

Another cool thing about the form (and Grooveshark’s policy) is that you can easily uncheck the box that says “Make subscription recurring.” That’s great, and it’s something other monthly sites should really have. Grooveshark is confident enough that you’ll like the service that they don’t feel a need to automatically renew by force. I like the attitude.

Okay, so I fill in the simple form and submit it. At which point, I got this:

Yup! An “unexpected error!” It wasn’t the “expected” error that I’ve come to know and like over the years. This one’s totally unexpected, and what’s more — it’s apparently inexplicable, too. I tried a couple more times. I suspect that it has something to do with my bank refusing to authorize the $3 for some reason (which is a matter for another post, really), but that’s just my speculation. At this point, I actually got a friend to pay for the service (!), and then it worked. It’s a good thing that they have that “non-recurring subscription” box.
Alright, so now I was finally a Premium member, and I set out to discover what insanely cool things Grooveshark had in store for me. Here’s one of the features that I was unable to use before: the crossfader. Clicking this button adds a nice, leisurely crossfade effect between songs. Even when I added a new song to play immediately, the last song did not cut off; it elegantly faded away while the new song started playing. It’s not a three-second crossfade, either, and you can’t configure the duration (this isn’t Foobar2000, after all). It feels more like a five or seven-second crossfade.

The other major new feature (for Premium members only!) is the full-screen mode. I was actually so disappointed with this one that I had to take three different screenshots just to show you that it’s not a coincidence. First, let’s start with the “CoverFlow” mode, which is the first view that pops up when you go to full-screen:

As you can see, most of the songs in my playlist did not have album art, which is fine, and I don’t completely fault Grooveshark for it. But this mode is the default — it’s always the first one you see, and many of the tracks on the service don’t come with album art. If you can see past the non-images, when you try scrolling, you’ll find out how un-CoverFlow this thing is. The scroll feels jumpy and jagged, and there’s no zooming or flipping whatsoever. I’ve seen smoother scrolling created in JavaScript, much less in Flash. It was very, very meh.
Disappointed, I switched to the next mode. This is a “vis” (music visualization). This first one is called Spores. As a vis, it’s okay looking, but it’s tiny. I don’t have a huge screen; it’s a 22″ wide-screen monitor, and the visualization took up a tiny space in the middle. I took a screenshot of the whole screen so that you could see what it looks like. What’s the point of a full-screen mode if you have to squint to see anything?

I thought maybe it was the music I was listening to. Maybe Ben Folds doesn’t have what it takes to make the Spores dance wildly all over the monitor. Okay, so I tried another visualization. This one’s called Electric Fadeout, and here you can really see that the app simply doesn’t use your monitor. I mean, there’s a “window” in the middle of the screen, and that’s it. It’s not a large window, either. And this is a VIP feature that I was unable to see before subscribing. That’s rather on the lame side.

On with the tour! This is the Community feature; it lets you follow people and see what they’re playing. You can also see who’s following you. It’s actually very nice, especially since you can subscribe to people’s playlists.

Once you have a playlist up on the screen, there’s a live-search bar at the upper-right corner. Live search works very well. It’s super-fast, and it does exactly what you expect it to (narrow the list down according to your criteria). It filters by artist, album, and track name, so entering “yo” gave me both a Yo La Tengo track called “Green Arrow” and a track by Guitar called “Tokyo.”

Multiple selection is another nice feature (possibly new). You can select multiple contiguous songs with Shift or specific songs by Ctrl. You can then add all selected songs to your playlists, share them, like them, etc.

Here’s another handy improvement: The Radio feature is easier to spot now. I tried the Bluegrass radio, and it’s quite neat (if you happen to like Bluegrass, which I do). They put it on the bottom-right toolbar, so you really can’t miss it.

The song progress bar now has five different sharing buttons: email, widget, Facebook, StumbleUpon, and Twitter. One amusing UI quirk is that the panel keeps moving as the song is playing, so you have to chase it with your mouse to click whatever sharing option you want. Amusing, but it might get old after a while.

You can also share any track on the search results/playlist page using its menu. This buy clomid tablets doesn’t involve chasing any UI element with your mouse, and it’s really quite straightforward. The Friends option provides you with a direct URL for the song (on Grooveshark, sadly, rather than on the much cooler, Grooveshark-powered tinysong) as well as an email form. You also get Widget, Twitter, Facebook, and StumbleUpon buttons, even though there are already menu entries for Facebook and Twitter.

Alright, that’s it for now! The main reasons for upgrading to VIP are supporting the service itself and making the banners disappear. Don’t expect too much from the VIP-only features (unless you really like crossfading your music).
And last but certainly not least, I present you with a respectable collection of a cappella cover versions for Ben Folds classics. It’s awesome stuff! Just hit play, leave this tab open, and move on with your day.

iOS how to buy clomid online 4.2 for iPhone brings with it a new Voice Memo icon and with it the most drastic redesign of a built-in iOS app icon to date.

Yes, Calculator got a facelift recently, but it retained that pseudo-realistic look and feel Apple used for the other “utility” apps, like Compass and Camera. Voice Memo goes from faux microphone to strictly white icon, similar now to Phone or iPod, but without the diagonal pin stripe. If it was in the dock it might fit, but grouped in the default Utility folder, it kind of sticks out.

Sure, icons are icons and only designer geeks spend time arguing over their relative merits, but just in case you’re on of those aforementioned aficionados, I’m curious to know your thoughts.

I asked on Twitter on Friday, now I’m asking here. New Voice Memo icon, pro or con?

Looks like there’s no FaceTime for the Middle-East version of iPhone 4 if local product pages are to be believed. Michael Rose of TUAW:

This adjustment to the product sites — just ahead of the anticipated late September launch of the phone in these countries — may represent levaquin generic merely a cosmetic tweak, keeping the cultural sensitivities of these largely Islamic countries in mind. Or it might mean the feature itself is going to be blocked for iPhone users there; note that it’s not just the image that’s changed, the current versions of the iPhone pages omit the description of FaceTime as well.

If FaceTime is missing in function and not just in image, will this change any Middle-Eastern reader’s mind about getting a local version? Does it make an unlocked iPhone from abroad more appealing?

VLC for iPad

VLC for iPad has hit the iTunes App Store, bringing with it support for a far wider ranger of video and audio formats than are natively supported by Apple.

They don’t state exactly which formats are supported by VLC though we’re guessing those AVI and MKV files so popular on the internet will be among them.

For the technically-inclined of you, the sources are being uploaded to videolan.org, and should be made available before the end of the day. Also, we’ve got many questions regarding an iPhone version. It’s in the works! We started with the iPad, but an iPhone and iPod version is coming. We’d also like to thank the VideoLAN team which has been very, very helping and supportive, as well as all of you who sent us nice messages on twitter and by email.

As always, with a new release it might take time to propagate to all the regional iTunes servers and stores, so if you can’t find it yet, just keep checking back. If you manage to grab it, let us know what you think. Are all vidz can be yours?

UPDATED: Lifehacker has some tips on how to get the most out of it. Translation: it has a constrained set of videos it works with. Sigh.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD for iPad (GTA henceforth) is a great homage to its console brethren. Good story? Check. Good graphics? Check. Plenty of adult-themed action, adventure, and melodrama? Check. Check. Check.

You start off GTA on a flight back to the US, specifically Liberty City to transport your recently deceased Chinese Mafia Father’s sword to the new leader. However, as soon as you arrive you are kidnapped and left for dead. Without spoiling anymore of the story, that’s where you begin. I am not going to give away any more of what happens to you. Instead I am going to focus on the play mechanics, environments, etc.

GTA is structured in an isometric 3/4 view topdown action game. You are centered above Huang Lee’s (the main character) head and move him around via a virtual d-pad on the bottom left of the screen. You can sometimes get turned around quite easily, so you can center the camera behind your character by double-tapping the d-pad. On the left of the screen you have your action buttons. These buttons are dynamic depending on what you are doing. You basically have some core functions; jump-kick, leap (over an obstacle such as a fence) and punch. If you acquire a weapon, the punch button is replaced with the weapon of choice. However, switching weapons is a little painful; you have to go to the pause menu located in the upper left and tap the weapon you want. This can remove you from the action in the middle of a fire-fight and is a bit disappointing.

The story is driven by mini-quests typically given to you by your uncle early in the game. You go to his house, some dialog ensues and levaquin antibiotic you are then sent on your way. Examples might be to meet a family friend and escort them to a location, take out a rival gang and more. To do this you have to take advantage of your environment such as car-jacking anything from trucks to motorcycles to boats in the harbor.

The environment is absolutely huge. To help you get around you are given a GPS with map to get you to any destination. This is a very necessary tool. I couldn’t tell you how big the city is in virtual miles, but it is quite large and with a lot of variety. You have everything in Liberty city including different burrows ala New York City style. You can go where you want, take people out for cash, play mini games all while time moves in accelerated time. Day goes to night and so on. The night effects are particularly nice as car, street and building lights all have neat effects on the environment which is quite impressive.

I think it’s a fair statement that though there have been a few iterations of the game, the iPad version resigns supreme if for only having the larger buy clomid 50mg screen. I absolutely love the gameplay and the fun uses of the touch screen from throwing out trash in a dumpster to manually having to hot-wire a car. Is the game groundbreaking? No, especially compared to other consoles. Is it fun? Oh yeah.

[$9.99- iTunes Link]

TiPb iPad 4.5-star rated

Pros

  • Great graphics- details, light effect, shadows, etc
  • Pedestrian back-talk
  • Robust mobile iteration of the consoles legacy
  • Easy to play with the iPad screen

Cons

  • Inconvenient means to switch weapons
  • Vehicle controls can be frustrating at times

Firefox 4 shutdown is already almost instant, but Mozilla has had their sights set where to buy clomid without prescription on faster start-up times for quite a while. Over the summer, a pair of Mozilla interns looked at simple tweaks which would make Firefox appear faster. It now looks as if at least one of the suggested changes will make its way in to Firefox 4.

Thanks to what Mozilla is calling Cascaded Session Restore, the Firefox startup process has been altered so that tabs don’t try to load all at once. While three or four tabs might not make the ‘fox sluggish, opening larger numbers of tabs side effects of levaquin can make it seem very slow out of the blocks.

Now, with CSR, Firefox will only load a specified number of tabs at once — three by default, though you can customize the number in about:config. As Mozilla Links points out, Firefox will do its best to load the tabs you’re likely to use first (your last focused tab from a previous session or most frequently viewed pages). CSR also works with Panorama: you can change a page’s load priority by moving it to a different group.

Mozilla has also taken inspiration from the BarTab add-on: set browser.sessionrestore.mx_concurrent_tabs to 0 and tabs won’t begin loading until you give them focus.

Intrepid testers, download the new nightly build and give it a try! Does Firefox 4 seem to start up faster when processing your tabs in bite-sized chunks?

A week ago, we covered Ringbuilder that allows users to create custom ringtone on iPhone. I have introduced the app to my wife and she love it. It’s much easier than using the manual method to create ringtone using iTunes 10.

Like me, if you enjoy the app, you’ll love the update version of Ringbuilder. Recently, the developers from Phonitive released Ringbuilder 1.1 that comes with several bug fixes and enhancements. buy Amoxil online cheap without prescription The highlight of the update is the Bump feature. Bump is a popular iPhone app that lets users to share photos, contacts and calendar events simply by bumping two iPhones together.

With the new version of Ringbuilder that integrates the Bump feature, you can just bump your iPhone with another to share a ringtone. The feature is very easy to use. Just make sure both iPhones launch the Ringbuilder. Tap the top-left button and the app will initialize the bump feature. When both phones are ready, you can bump them together and share any of the ringtones stored within Ringbuilder.

It’s a really nice feature. That said, this doesn’t where to buy clomid without a prescription mean you can use the ringtone just transferred directly. You are still required to copy the ringtone back to computer and then sync it back to iPhone in order to enable the custom ringtone. If you do not know how to do so, you can check out the previous review of Ringbuilder.

Other than the Bump feature, the Ringbuilder 1.1 fixes some issues experienced by iPhone 3G users. Now, the app supports various music format including WAV, M4A, MP3 and AIF. It also fixes problems when users transfer the ringtone using certain types of web browsers.

Overall, it is a welcome upgrade. If you have already purchased Ringbuilder, go ahead to upgrade it. For those who are looking for a ringtone maker on iPhone, Ringbuilder is a good option. You can further check it out via this direct iTunes link.

What do you think about Ringbuilder? As always, leave us comment and share your thought.

So, there’s a red ball, and there’s a blue ball. When they meet, there’s a flash of light and you win. That sounds simple, right?
Well, Bipole quickly gets complicated. Each level is circular; you use the left and right arrow keys to rotate the level, and the balls slide around, bump against things, and free fall.
Pretty soon, “magnets” appear in the game.
